Greek
Govt Insurer Will No Longer Pay For Diabetic Footwear Because
.. Amputation Is Cheaper
They shouldn't call it health care
According to the Wall Street Journal, To Vima, Greece's most respected
newspaper, is reporting that the largest government health
insurer will no longer pay for special diabetic footwear because, in
the long run (no pun intended), it's cheaper to amputate. Money
grabbing bean counters are apparently not contented with just having
brought the world economy to its knees.
