British Govt Says
Bankruptcy and Homelessness Is Caused By Using The Phrase "Best
Practice"
See. Fixing the economy
wasn't so hard. Move along now.
Some 200 words and phrases have been banned from use
in local government because, "unless
information is given to people to explain what help they can get during
a recession, then it could lead to more people ending up homeless or
bankrupt," according to the Local Government Association
(LGA).
Among words and phrases now banned are:
- Cascading
- Menu of choices
- Transformational
- Client
- Stakeholder engagement and
Stakeholders
- Slippage
- Benchmarking
- Best practice
See,
this whole bad economy thing? It was just a little
misunderstanding.
