If You Have $31K Cash On The Back Seat Of A Convertible, Resist The Temptation To Lower The Top While Driving
He was test driving an Audi. FAIL!

A series of unfortunate events:
  • Get $31K cash for purchasing a high priced car (23,000 Euro).
  • Stuff the cash into an envelope, not bothering to seal it.
  • Carelessly place the unsealed envelope onto the rear seat of the Audi convertible to be test driven.
  • Travel at high speeds on a German motorway and then lower the top.  Doh!
Do these 23-year-old German man's decisions suck?

Nope, they blow.

Police shut down the motorway in both directions while they looked for the missing money. All but $4K (3,000 Euro) was found making his test drive a definite and expensive FAIL.

There's one last unfortunate event:
  • Police are looking to charge him for the closure of the motorway, the backup it caused and the cost for the 8 police officers who searched for his money.
